We offer a full range of funeral and cremation services at very competitive rates. Our usual service packages are as follows:

TRADITIONAL SERVICE followed by earth burial
A traditional funeral service is held at a place of worship, in our funeral chapel, or at another location. A time of visitation (or “viewing”) is often held in the days or hours prior to the funeral service. Sometimes, a prayer service is held the evening prior to the funeral service. After the funeral service takes place, interment (or “burial”) occurs in a cemetery of the family’s choosing.

TRADITIONAL SERVICE followed by cremation
This is very similar to the above service option, except for cremation takes place after the funeral service. If the family wishes, inurnment (or “burial” of the cremated remains) may take place at a future time.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
In this instance, cremation takes place and a memorial service is held at a place of worship, in our funeral chapel, or at another location. The urn may or may not be present at the service, depending on the family’s wishes. If a family wishes to have a viewing prior to cremation, this is also an option. Following the memorial service, inurnment (or “burial” of the cremated remains) may take place. Often times, a family will choose another means of final disposition of cremated remains, such as keeping them at their residence, scattering, etc.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE
As an alternative to having a funeral/memorial service in a place of worship, funeral chapel or other location, a family may choose to hold the service at the graveside. This can be done whether casket burial or cremation is chosen, and there are a variety of different options as to how this type of service can be carried out.

DIRECT CREMATION with no funeral/memorial service
Some families opt for cremation with no funeral/memorial services whatsoever and they choose this option for a variety of reasons. Often times, it is carried out because this is what the deceased loved one has requested. We will, of course, provide this type of service to any family requesting it, but we do encourage families to consider the benefits of holding some sort of service. Having a service often plays an extremely important role in obtaining closure in a time of loss.

In addition to our basic services described above, we also provide the opportunity for people to pre-arrange and/or pre-pay their funeral services.

We provide other merchandise such as memorial candles, keepsake cremation pendants, and custom memorial cards (often featuring a colour picture of the deceased), which we produce right here at the funeral home.

We are also Authorized Memorial Counsellors for Remco Memorials Ltd. (granite cemetery monuments) and an authorized dealer for Dixon Bayco Ltd. (bronze cemetery memorials).
